Woody Rash

To me, wealth is a multifaceted reflection of both achievement and contentment. Having sufficient resources allows one to make choices with their time, experiences, social impact, and physical well-being. The best reflection of my wealth is my wife and children. A close second is the joy and satisfaction in serving my clients as their guide and advisor. I am eternally grateful for the trust they have placed in me and the financial independence I have gained from that partnership.

Woody is Managing Director and leads the Minneapolis office. He has been a financial advisor since 1994 and a Registered Investment Advisor since 2006.

Prior to joining ViaWealth, Woody owned and operated Brightline Group for over a decade. An accredited Executive Coach, he guides his clients with a coaching mindset through life’s transitions and strongly believes in intentional evolution. Before starting his own firm, Woody was a Principal at Somerset Asset Management. He spent the first 12 years of his career at Merrill Lynch, becoming Vice President, and held various leadership positions at the firm.

When not working, Woody enjoys playing golf, traveling and experiencing live music. His favorite venue is Red Rocks Amphitheatre, outside of Denver, CO.

Woody and his wife, Kristen, live in Orono, MN. They have two grown children and enjoy spending time “up North” and in the Colorado mountains.
